FORS Bronze: V1 Serviceability & roadworthiness

This document provides you with the written evidence that you need to meet V1 of the FORS Bronze Standard V5. It includes guidance on how to use it, an introduction to FORS and what it means for the company, a review of the requirement and your commitment to meet and maintain the standards.
 
It explains why a policy is needed and reinforces the importance of good vehicle maintenance and servicing.
 
A company commitment is also included, and an itemised list of items on service documentation help to create a standard that can be used by the in-house workshop team or the repair and maintenance third party. 
 
It includes an example defect sheet which can be used by drivers to perform checks or as a benchmark for your current system. We've also added a safety inspection sheet to show the items that need to be checked as part of scheduled maintenance. 
 
It's been produced as a word document and you'll need to add your own details.
