Procedure - Beware the weather!

This 4 page procedure is designed to highlight the risks of adverse weather on drivers, particularly those operating high-sided vehicles.  It provides detailed steps to either consider or take when driving in rain, wind, fog, snow and ice and sunshine, and serves as a reminder about what to check and why. 
 
As well as helping to maintain your duty of care and providing essential support, the policy may help to demonstrate compliance with industry schemes. However, please note that a process must be active and effective to demonstrate high standards.
