Policy - Safely working with vehicles

This policy and supporting procedure is designed to help drivers identify risks while working in or on the vehicle. It includes a summary of the potential safety issues, a policy detailing what the company will do to improve safety and a process to follow for drivers and loading operatives. 
 
This policy can be used in conjunction with the safely working on or in vehicles risk assessment, available in the store. 
 
As well as improving your safety standards for driver safety on vehicles, the policy may help to demonstrate compliance with industry schemes. However, please note that a process must be in place to demonstrate high standards.
