Policy - Van Driver Standards

This policy is designed to help you introduce and manage standards of driving. It can be used for van drivers, grey fleet drivers and HGV drivers (especially if they drive a van on the odd occasion).
 
It provides good examples of how to drive a van safely, efficiently and with consideration for other road users, and it meets the requirement of FORS Bronze D2.
 
It explains why the policy's needed, the risks involved and what's required to protect your van driver and your business.
 
A van defect template is included, and as well as helping to maintain your duty of care and providing essential support, the policy can help to demonstrate compliance with industry schemes.
 
It's been produced as a Word document, it can be edited where necessary (to include your branding and / or the names of relevant staff) and there no restrictions or copyright.
